I'm a little more of a gearw***e than you when I play so my kilt comes in more handily in that aspect. With Robert putting a molle system on the front apron I can carry gear that I can grab easy. I had pouches for two pistol clips (Tac8) a dump pouch sporran and a grenade pouch. I also have gaiters in multicam for added protection for my shins. Except for that lucky shot I caught on the side of my knee I'm fully protected and won't hesitate to play kilted again.

A posed shot from last winter...

That is a sharp looking Kilt. I'm not sure about the MOLLE on the front though. I would perfer to have it on the back. I'm trying to go that route with the MARPAT kilt I'll be getting. The games out my team field don't last that long so I figure a couple of pod-pouches and a tank pouch wouldn't hinder me that much. I would have to go back to my vest for longer play games though.

Interesting thought about molle on the back, with an 8" fell I think it would be entirely possible. Although I don't think that I would strap my tank back there pod packs would be entirely feasible. The reason I went with the molle system on the from is to ensure my sporran is always where it's supposed to be as the first line of protection (can't play with a cup).

The sporran would make a good shield for sure. I don't play with a sporran though. As I don't have one I would like to take on the field. The dump pouch is a good idea though. Obviously I wouldn't carry a large tank on the back of the kilt. A nice 13ci tank would be perfect to the point you would barely notice it.

I've admired that kilt since you first posted those pics some time ago. I'd LOVE to get one of my own like it someday. I don't do paintball, but I'd wear that one everywhere else! Very, very cool.

Yeah, I'm diggin' the camo kilt myself. I don't paintball or hunt, but I would love to rock one of those at a metal show or something. Or just bang around in one day to day. Don't really need a reason - just need the kilt ;)

I have been playing in a kilt for over 10 years now it is so much more fun. I started playing back in 1984 the infancy of the game. For the past 7 years or so I have mostly played Stock Class only, with occasional stint with a semi. ( it is like cheating for me ) There ia a large contingent of SC and pump players in the mid west who wear SK Nightstalkers .

The team I know that plays kilted all wear Sk blackwatch. I like my UK and CWK for paintball though. Just feels more durable. I don't have to worry about running through the brush and damaging the kilt.
