    GPS Case

Just thought I'd share this small pouch I stitched up to protect our GPS when thrown in my Wifes purse. Most ready made cases are either bulky and soft or tiny and hard and they all seem to be heavy. I wanted something in between that would protect the GPS but also not take up a lot of space or add excessive wieght to her purse and also be somehting just a little different. Anyway, here ya go...

Had some extra buttons from my PC jacket Mod so used one here as a toggle closure

You can see here it's just a simple 3 fold pouch from a single rectangle of leather. It' sthe same type leather motorcycle chaps are made from.

And to minimize any potential damage from metal fasteners I fashioned a leather "washer" to anchor the button more securely.

Good idea, it is simple and functional

You are inspiring me to make a holster to put on my belt for my Audubon bird guide

    Cheers
