BBQ is Still On!
Hi all,
I'm sorry I haven't updated you all on the BBQ plans. I've had a death in the family and the funeral is tomorrow, so I've been a little distracted.
The BBQ will begin at 5 and go until we're done. I'm going to make a few side dishes. This is potluck, so bring whatever you like. We'll have the grill going, so if you want to bring grillables that's fine. If you prefer to bring drinks or side dishes that's good. Desserts are good, as long as they contain chocolate and no nuts. (Wait, did that sound like an order to bring me chocolate? I'm ok with that...)
I'm not sure how to get the address out to everyone, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd like to hear them. Mike will be working Saturday and I suspect I have a bit of housework to do, so we won't be at the games until Sunday. Monkey at Arms has the address and maybe if he likes you he'll share. I think Alan has the address, too.

I've got a simple solution, I'll just post your address here so everyone on net can drop by, the address is 223 Belv . . . Oh.

Actually, even if I don't much care for you I'll share if you buy me a beer, I'm easy that way.
But seriously, any of the Rabble can get in touch with me for the address, and I'll print out some google maps and bring them to the games.
Best regards,
Jake

First, let me say how sorry I am for your loss. Unfortunately, as much as I would love to be there, I have a prior obligation on Saturday. I will try get to the Games on Sunday if I can.

If I show up, do I have to behave myself?... or act my age?... or not wear pink?... or some other social restriction?... or bring food or drink?...
The last one I can handle.

Just so you all know, I'd really rather be at the BBQ than at "Martini Madness", but I bought into the whole "Martini Madness" party at a school fundraiser, so I really do have to go...and get drunk... with a bunch of other young, uninhibited, attractive, young mothers...with no fathers around... and no kids...and a good band....and...ummm...
I'll really miss hanging out with ya'll.
Be well,
Star

If you insist on behaving yourself AND acting your age AND not wearing pink, well, I don't know... That is certainly not behavior that we typically condone around here!
Food or drink did you say?
Well OK, come on down!

The children and I should be able to attend the after Games festivities.
The Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess will be leaving right after the Games to doll her self up for a ladies "Martini Madness" party.
Cheers
