Saltire in the Sky over Scotland

As I returned home across the border from Carlisle today, appropriately there was a Saltire in the sky above Scotland!
This view was taken with the camera resting on the bridge parapet on the English bank of the Kershope Burn, with the camera looking across into Scotland, over which two jet planes have formed a saltire a few minutes before I reached the border.

Man, that's really nice.
St. Andrew and Angus MacFergus would be proud.

Very nice. Perhaps Holyrood can appropriate some money to have those float in the sky for the length of the border? ith:

"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
