www.dreamweaverbraiding.com is a very helpful site, and youtube has lots of good videos too.

Like I tell people, the key to growing your hair out is STOP CUTTING IT. :P

I'm just glad to see so many long-haired gents in this community. I'm a big fan of long hair on anybody!

Well, here's how it was growing up. My mother hates short hair and thinks men should have hair at least down passed the collar. My father hates long hair on men, and I mean he is very very sour about it. That was very frustrating.

So throughout my life, I have switched back and forth between short and long hair styles.

Gentalmen did have long hair or wore long wigs in the past, and across more than one century, and include many of the founding fathers and presidents of America. So you know...

Count me in. @ 67++, I have a "full head of hair. Right now it is about 6" below my ears. Because it is thick & wavy, this is the length I keep it.

I have been "toying with CUTTING IT SHORT ( because of the "hassle") BUT ????

Even though I'm female, I have to add mine in. I have long hair. Which I keep up not because it gets caught in things (but it does) but more for comfort. I'm cooler with my hair up off my neck. Right now my hair is around my tush area. I'll get McMurdo to take a picture when he gets in of my hair hanging. It's not as long as Cynthia's whom I envy. *drools*

No recent pics other than the Xmarks group shot at Loch Norman, but my hair was last cut (very short) in October of 2007. I'm almost back to the old complete ponytail - just a few strands in front that the hair tie won't quite catch yet.

For those who don't know, I'm the little fellow in the back center in the mirrored shades.

Well, every few years I shave it right down to the metal, and then just let it grow.
I certainly don't have the way-down the back hair you have, but I almost cut it, it happened just the other day. It's gettin' kinda long...
"But I feel...like I owe it... to someooooooone!"

Can anyone name the song those lyrics came from?
A great band, frome late 60's, early 70's.
    --Hint--they played woodstock...

Looking at the pictures, I'd say my hair is short. See Impromptu Kilt in Peoria under the events tab for a picture that includes me. I wear my hair long unless I'm doing yard work or other sweaty stuff.

What, you mean Crosby, Steels, Nash and sometimes Young?

    David Crosby sang the lead.
