Hello again Rabble,
More photos from New Mexico...
Bottger Mansion - house for the Mexican governor of New Mexico before it became a US territory.

Parlor

In old town Albuquerque there is a tree off of one of the side streets that hide's this sculpture.

The gazebo in the old town plaza

Just to prove that the desert is not all brown. A flower on a prickly pear.

If you live in the southwest, you know what this is... Instant spice on your food. A red chile rista.

One of the oldest Catholic churches in New Mexico. The San Felipe de Neri

Hello again rabble, Time for some more photos prior to meeting up with Weasel Mender and group for dinner tonight...
This is the city of Albuquerque from the top of Sandia Peak. Roughly 11,000 feet above sea level.

This is the southern range of the Sandia's and the northern range of the Monzano's.

Between Albuquerque and Santa Fe is a little community called Madrid. This is primarily an artist community and you never know what you might find.

Another shot of instant spice for your meal. Pull a red chile off the rista and grind it on your food. YUM!

This is why they are called the Rocky Mountains!

Another shot to show that not all of New Mexico is desert. This is a high alpine meadow at about 10,000 feet.

More to come after the dinner with folks tonight.
