And the forecast for this evening? I'm assuming mostly dark with scattered drunks & 0% chance of kilt checks.

If the wind stays as it is, it'll be a "16 oz or better day" lest you flash the lasses.
The wind may die down later. Lookin' forwarding to seeing you guys tonight!

If you drank one tenth of what Dee drinks* you'd be passed out under your sewing machine with McMurdo running rough-shod through your atelier**.
*Before breakfast yet.
**That still sounds so vulgar.

Hmmmmm. But when I'm there in person you have to double down.

Well, that's actually true. On both counts.
Actually Robert, I just left you a Skype voice mail. I tried but you guys are probably deep into neighborhood debauchery by now. It's been a bit crazy around here or I would have dropped in earlier.
We are actually on our way to Canada tomorrow for a funeral. We'll be in Windsor and back and forth across the border too many times to count as my MIL's family is scattered on both sides. Unfortunately no time for side trips to break it all up. We WILL be there for the birth of our second grandchild in July though so start marking your calendars. No one between Toronto and Windsor ( or upstate NY for that matter) will be safe.

It was a great turnout in Stratford last night - about a dozen of us gathered at Roberts Atelier before the pub crawl began. One of the lads (Ken) blessed the group with a case of Innis and Gunn beer. Man, that stuff is fantastic! Best tasting beer I have ever enjoyed. Chriss was feeling particularly generous later in the evening and bought a round for the group.
Pictures were of course taken and hopefully, will be posted.
Good company, good conversation, good beer.
Not to mention the somewhat surreal phenomenon of a dozen grown men talking about and comparing pleats, tartans and fabric weights... Priceless!
I enjoyed every minute of the evening.
Cheers,
Rick
