I'm not sure Todd, I did not ask, he does wear it quite often, it does look like a hat from Glengarryhats, there was no cockade on it, though he could have removed it. I'll have to ask him where he got it next time I talk with him.

I believe it once belonged to his father who served with the Canadian Forces during the second world war

Thanks for the comments, I'm not sure who made the hat, there are no labels or markings. I bought the balmoral on ebay. It wasn't my Fathers' but I do have his glengarry from his WWII service with the Highland Light Infantry out of Galt Ont.
Had a great time, we'll do it again soon.

ooops I now recall the glengarry from the remembrance day service.
So I guess I have to buy lunch next time...dang! But then I know about the other kilts your wife doesn't........
