Yes, the whole dirk is handmade (handforged and carved).
Oh, Thereīs one modern tool used- a die for fitting the tang nut.
Forgive me- I didnīt tell the whole truth
Itīs the first time I did use such a bright wood, but as the historic pattern has a handle from walrus ivory, I thought , maple might be the right stuff for it.

Well, I am thinking about selling this new one and the one in my avatar as well. You know, there are some new projects in my head, so I have to part from some of pieces of my collection. Maybe youīll see them again in the "for sale" forum in the next days.
