			Piper in/around Berlin, NH

Ladies and gents,Now that the euphoria of being recently engaged has worn off, my fiance and I have jumped in with both feet into the planning process. While driving yesterday and discussing various details about the wedding she suggested we look into getting a piper. That's right, she suggested it (I truly love this woman!)

We're going to be getting married in the Berlin/Whitefield area of NH and I was curious if any of the talented pipers here among us are located in that area or knew of anyone who was. There's plenty of lead time (July of 2010) so I was just looking for some general info.

 Thanks inadvance

 ~Alex

I don't know any off hand, but I follow a firefighter on twitter that plays in the New Hampshire Firefighters pipes and drums. It would be a good place to starthttp://www.nhfirepipers.org/
 good luck

Edit: found this posted just today on a piping forum

Iain MacHarg of the band Preydein in Saint Albans, Vermont may be able to help you. He has trained many pipers in Northern New Hampshire and Northern Vermont. website: http://www.prydein.com/Slainte

					Congrats!
May I suggest a "wedding planning" trip should be scheduled around the New Hampshire Highland Games Sept 18-20, 2009!!

Loon is probably less than an hour from Whitefield and a little more to Berlin (nice trip up through Franconia Notch - where the Old Man of the Mountain USED to be!)

 Thanks for the heads up!

Alex,If you come to the New Hampshire Highland Games, Stop by the Clan MacNeil tent. I will be there. We are the honoured clan for this years games. I will be the one working on his lessons on the practice chanter in the corner when it is quiet, ... but my chanter is not.
