proposed bill gives Ohio an official tartan

    http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/...an-112071.html

Not the best written article, missed it originally, now I need to look more into it.

It is Ohio Senate bill 127. As a custom weave, it won't be cheap either it appears.

    http://www.ohioscottishgames.com/ohio-tartan.html Shows the tartan.

Certainly would be an eye turner. Not sure it's my cup o' tea, but I'm interested in what it would look like in a kilt.

I have heard Rocky's opinion of the American Bicentennial tartan, not sure what he would think of this one.

I am not getting this word for word, but it was something along the lines of "obscene levels of red and blue" and then cited his opinion of it as his reason for creating the American heritage tatan

Interesting. Hmmm, given that I have both, maybe I should get around to posting some side-by-side pics to let people decide. But I might need a stand in for myself. Is Sean Connery available?

It's too busy. There's no big area of any single color for the eye to settle on.

Oh my. Where are the kilt police when you need them? Personally, as a former Ohioian, I think an Ohio tartan should be in crimson and grey
