Just heard some news about Jock Scot

I noticed he hadn't been online for a few days so I thought I'd send a PM since we occasionally chat. I received a PM this morning, but it was not from him, it was from his personal assistant. It seems there has been an accident. Here is what I was sent:

I hope that he has a very quick and full recovery. My thoughts are with him and his family. He's a wonderful gentleman, and I know I enjoy having him with us here. Looking forward to his return!

He was critically injured in a freak accident on his estate, on the 9th of May, and was airlifted to hospital. He has been in intensive care for nine days, in a coma, but I am delighted to announce that he has "come round" and it is hoped that he will make a recovery, in time.

Thanks for your outreach to him and letting us know, Cynthia. I shall add my prayers to those of others here for a quick and full recovery.
 (You heard from his father???

No, his PA... I think that means personal assistant? Not sure if there's a different meaning over there, but that's what I've always assumed that stands for. Hope that explains it

That's terrible! I hope he gets well soon! Yeah, I think PA probably means 'Personal Assistant'.

Thanks Slohairt! I was pretty sure, but not 100%... I'm on my first cup of coffee so I'm a bit groggy still. That was the first thing I saw online when I woke up this morning, and it was a bit of a shock
