I am going to play devil's advocate here, and say that I can understand how that could happen. My two SWKs are 40s, and I am wearing one right now. If I were to measure and order based on that, I would probably need a 44. It is a major fear I have of ordering a major kilt, that it may not fit. I once tried on a few PV kilts and they had a 38 that was way too small, and a 42 that was way to big. I have gained a lot of the weight I had lost over the last year after my son was born, but I am still in my size 40 SWKs. I can sympathize.
It is still frustrating, and worrisome.

I agree
Kilts seem to be like P@%&$, no manufacturer uses the same tape measure.

If you were not so sold on a masonic I could have loaned you a kilt if you were in my size... I doubt I could get it there by tuesday at this point...

I appreciate all the comments. I also appreciate hearing from Frugal Kilts, not only here, but via email. I just hope that the proper kilt comes in time. Thanks to all.
