That's a great looking group, TSJ... great photo. How do the cadets as a group feel about the uniforms? My children both attend a school with uniforms (not nearly as sharp as yours) and many of the kids complain constantly about it.

When you first start the school and see the uniform you want to die of shock.
But as the months go bye, you become very proud. Everyone in the village stares at you with pride, it can cause the odd punch up with other schools.

There's probably more than a little bit of jealousy at work with those other schools. I'll wager that you and your mates' pride in the uniform will only grow as years pass.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the 1st cadet on the left in the photo, is that a lassie.
Or are me eyes finally failing me?

Hi jolyStNicholas, your eyes are fine, girls were aloud to the school in the late 90's but the odd girl was aloud in other decades if her parents were killed in action, but that was rare.

Thank you young sir for straightening that out for me. Reading your post you never mentioned the lassies. Lucky you. They do look grand in their uniforms
as do the lads.
