I'd kill (quite literally) to have one like that worn by the late Jock Hay of Delgattie. It was made from the hide of a leopard that Jock shot in Africa while it was mauling one of his bearers. Absolutely the stuff of legends, Jock was, and the kind of man who deserved that kind of sporran. If I ever get the chance to bag a leopard you can bet your bottom dollar it'll end up as sporran for me and a 'skin for the drummer in our local pipe band.

Have you ever seen the Duke of Atholl's zebra sporran? Very nice piece!

Jamie, I have a very similar one with somewhat different cantle as my primary dress sporran.

Then I have a full mask arctic fox without cantle, although I haven't worn it formal yet.

And then I just won a red fox mask sporran with cantle off ebay that I have not yet recieved but will post photos of when I recieve it after I get back from vacation in a couple weeks. You will just have to wait until then for that one. Considering a matching black fox mask with cantle from teh same seller----tough decision. How many sporrans can one man have?

I had my eye on that fox mask sporran, too! Congratulations, it looks quite nice (better than the black fox, IMHO)

Here is the Duke and Duchess of Atholl ( with some odd character in the background!) at the Glasgow Highland Games a couple of years ago, showing his zebra sporran:

Excellent, McMurdo! When Rathdown mentioned the leopard sporran, it was this photo of Prince Henry that came to mind.

One cannot say that leopard sporrans are the most politically correct, but they really are beautiful. I have a feeling that there are quite a few leopard and cheetah and other "exotic" fur sporrans out there due to the days of Empire.

For a full mask, I have TCS 55, the Frankenchuck:

If I were to get one with a cantle, I would like one of these cantles from ClanArt:

I don't know what fur I would want, though.
