Color Advice for Argyl Hose

at the moment the plan is for a red foot and body with blue, green, red and white argyll tops. still thinking this may be too loud, but want something different.

anyone have a photo or link to red hose with an argyll or otherwise decorative top, or is this just not done?

I have two pair of Hawick argyle top hose, with navy and black bodies respectively, that look rather nice and dressy with the right kilt. I don't think the company makes them anymore though as I cannot seem to find them anywhere on the net. Other than the customs that Norcal mentions in the above threat I have not seen them in other colors for the body.

I would suggest a blue or green that accents the kilt's colors (or possibly black.) Matt Newsome has some nice traditional garters in his shop.

The hose already pulls red, white and green from the kilt How about a shade of blue/purple to bring that out of the kilt.
