Finally took delivery of my kilt, jacket and waistcoat from Stewart Christie in Edinburgh. It's an 8-yarder in Lochcarron Strome McLaren Weathered. The sporran is a simple inexpensive one I bought as a stopgap. A friend of mine who designs leather goods for a handbag company is making me one at the moment. I'd also like to thanks everyone who makes Xmarks what it is. Just about every decision I've made with this outfit has been informed by the discussion on the forum~ thanks all!
That is very sharp outfit congrats
That looks like the wait was well worth it, congratulations.
Congratulations, you look sharp! I recognize that "blissed out" look on your face. Nothing like strapping on your first tank. It's a beautiful tartan, and that Lochcarron Strome is fabulous stuff, isn't it?
You look Marvelous!!!
By Choice, not by Birth
You did well! Congratulations, and Kilt On!
That's a sharp look. Very handsome. Congratulations! I wanted to add that the McLaren Weathered is a very good looking tartan.
