I wish I could find him the Tee I saw this weekend. On the front said "Go Kilt?" The back said "Of course there is nothing under it. If there was it would be a skirt."

I believe several companies make variations on that one.

I don't wear a kilt (yet) as I don't have a kilt (yet), but I bet I'll tuck all of my shirts IN.

I only have modern kilts/MUG's, and I always wear my shirts tucked in. However, I have yet to wear any of my bowling style shirts with my kilts, but I don't think I would tuck those in with a kilt. Although, if the shirt was short enough... say, just to the bottom of the belt or so... I might wear it out instead... maybe. It really all depends on how it looks on who's wearing it.

I've never really thought about it seeing as how I usualy have my shirt or tshirt on before my kilt be it a trad or not so I'm usualy tucked in.

I did however buy a nice tshirt the other day which can't be worn tucked in due to the punch line being quite a bit down the front and it just didn't look right having it untucked whith my union kilt so I'll have to see how that turns out.

I'd say in, but I agree there can be some out looks which are OK. I have kind of a "rockabilly" look for lack of a better word, which incorporates a mechanics shirt out and open over a tshirt. Probably would not go over well here, but I think it works in a certain way.

I used to do that with my plain black shook uniform shirt with a black tshirt under it. I havent done that since school it could be pull offable with a black uk
