Hi Bob,
There are patterns available for kilts, and inexpensive kilt options.
If you start your own thread introducing yourself again, you can probably get lots of advice without getting lost in this thread..you will soon see that it's not a rich mans hobby, but a frugal mans pleasure. Many of our members find kilting accessories at Goodwill, and modify them for a superb look.
