New, wacky band photo
This past weekend our crazy band did a photo shoot. Here's a sample of one of our faves pics so far:
Besides the VERY goofy face, that's a USAK semi-trad in the American Heritage tartan I'm sporting (LOVE the tartan and a great kilt!)
Kilts on!

Great picture!!
By the way, from a marketing standpoint, the picture really works... makes me very curious about what kind of music you play.

Very cool
I like it. I'm in a band and we are looking for ideas for pictures. The kilt really makes it!

Our band
I should add that we have an accordian player as well. Also a fiddle, lead guitar, bass guitar, female singer and I am the drummer. Our name is "Phoebus Rio' and we are located in the Hampton Roads Virginia area.
Tell us more about your band?

Cool lineup you have! Unfortunately, we're between drummers (almost) so our longtime, fantastic stick man chose to miss the shoot. Ah well, onward... We call ourselves, the Mad Maggies. Check out the links in my signature below to see, hear, read about what we do.
Oh, and I've gone kilted to every gig we've played since last summer--when I got my first kilt.
Kilt on!

fantastic
I just went to your website and listened to all the music. Very cool and eclectic. We are doing as well different and unusual music with our fiddle and accordion, etc. You guys are pollished and quite together. We have been together for four month and have a steady gig two Fridays a month. We do have a big festival gig coming up this July 3rd, Harbour Fest in Norfolk, Virginia. Except for our younger female singer we are all in our fifties. I truly love your sound and your are really on to something. This will be inspiring to us and give us more confidence to follow our own sound. Thanks for sharing and I hope to see you live someday.

That's very nearly the Hamish Mark II. Keep trying!
Fun pic.

Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.
