One snappy dresser The Prince of Wales is. Does give one some ideas for future projects as far as kilt jackets are concern.

For anyone envious of HRH's hose....

    Hand knit, made-to-order....

Machine knit, stock colors & sizes (but less expensive if the colors work for you)...

I have a pair of the Hand Knit Royal Hose Cuff hose from Matt, I never noticed I was on the website before, and two pair of the checkerboard pattern from Hawick. They really are some of my favourite hose and would recommend them to anyone.

The Prince always looks so comfortable when kilted - lets hope his boys will follow suit.

This has to be my favorite one, a man and his dog.

If I am not mistaken this is the Gordon Highlander tartan.

There are several more on this page

There is a wonderful portrait done by artist Georgina Barclay here is her website:
    http://www.georginabarclayartist.com...a-barclay.html

The portrait was painted by Georgina Barclay in 2007 and hangs in the Museum. The Duke of Rothesay is now the Royal Colonel of The Black Watch Battalion. The Regiment has enjoyed a close and abiding relationship with the Royal Family and in particular with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother who was Colonel in Chief from 1937 until her death in 2002, a period of 65 years.

Aye, and the regimental tie of the Gordons tae boot, a favourite of HRH.

Alas neither William nor Harry seem interested in wearing kilts - last time I saw them in kilts is when they were wee bairns.
