    Starfleet needs a Tartan

I know it's a bit late but I thought I would post my halloween costume from last year. I was visiting friends in Vacaville, Calif. at the time. Everywere I went in "full tartan uniform" I was smiled at and complimented. Even Princess Leah paid homage. Tell me what you think.

I hope there will be an official Starfleet Tartan some day.

    Slainte!

    Sean

Smashing! I propose Starfleet tartans made with the NG uniform colours: red and black, gold and black, turquoise and black ... or all thrown into one? And grey hose, of course, matching the shirt.

Or, same tartan for all, except with an overstripe to match the tunic.

    How about this:

    K40 PB10 N2 PB10 K10 R10 N2 R10 K10 DY10 N2 DY10

Asymmetrical, very stylish. Pleated to the stripe of whichever office colour is yours!

Have to say, the title of the thread alone cracked me up!

How about a full-mask Tribble Sporran?

(Geek on) That's a command commisioned officer's uniform, all Starfleet tunics are red after 2278, the division is indicated by the shoulder and sleeve bands. (Geek off)

I always thought MacBeth Ancient would be a good Starfleet tartan
