xmarks discount?
With the strengthening of the pound I went over to Scotweb to shirk at how much my next kilt will be costing me... might buy it before I'm supposed to just to stave off the rising costs! In any case, I clicked on the banner on here. Normally that brings up a box that says "XMarks discount is active". However, I'm not seeing that notification any more. Is the XMarks discount still valid?
Maybe I just need to clear my browser cache... hrm, I'll try that.

P.S. I see previous thread going back over the past two years with this issue, and Nick, the gentleman at the company who posts here, has usually indicated that the discount would be honored, even if not showing online. But...that was then.......

Well, I cleared the cache, and the prices dropped to reflect about 10% off... but still not getting the notification bar stating that the discount is in effect.

Scratch that. I looked at something wrong - looked at the wrong type of kilt, so I wasn't comparing apples to apples. After clearing the cache, the prices all increased, which looks like the discount may have been on there prior to clearing, but I can't get it back. So, still stuck in the same scenario. Doesn't look like the xmarks discount is working any more. And doesn't look like it applies at the cart, either.

Did you go to Scotweb from the ad in the top right hand corner of XMTS? There is a special link there for the discount.

Hi guys, I'm not sure what's caused this. But we'll get it fixed within the next few hours I'm sure, now that it's been pointed out...
And if you really can't wait that long, just order anyway and we'll adjust the price afterwards!!

Well bit the bullet and bought it earlier than I was planning. And might I say, Nick, that your people excel in customer service. They were very helpful when I asked for assistance deciding pleating options. Great crew!
