Us heathens are making a come back. And a whole lot of us are kilted. 
As to the prom thing... I've noticed a drop in the number of kids going out dressed like they're going to prom. It used to be that not a weekend went by this time of year where I didn't see boys wearing il fitting formalwear and girls with so much crap in their hair that they were fire dangers in blue dresses.
I have been wondering what's been going on... I know a couple proms got cancelled due to inclement weather, so I thought that might be the case. But budget cuts make a lot of sense. Who needs superfluos things like art and culture when the football team needs new pads? We have to keep our priorities...

Cost has become a problem for most wanting to go to prom. The list is endless when thinking about going. However kilts are an alternative to cutting the cost of renting a tux and are just as fashionable if not more so than a tux. It is supposed to be a special event for the Juniors and especially the Seniors. Though not a prom goer in the truest sense, I did go kilted this year at the request of the Seniors. Will have some pix of me at graduation shortly.
