I was told that it comes from your mother's father. Lucky me he was fully bald by age 19. I've lived well in his footsteps.

Watched my brother do the comb-over. Breeze from the port side, all good. Breeze from the starboard, and the Commander was flyin' Old Glory.

When my turn came in 1995 I grew it down to my belt one last time and then cut it all off. My wife came after me with the horse shears, then curry-combed me good. I'll never get best in show but I can still jump a fence without hitting the top rail.

Now I just run a Norelco across it every couple of days.

I have to jump in on this one! Shaved my head a few summers ago, and never looked back!

This was taken back in 2007 at one of the earlier SOKS Kilt Nights in Dunnville.

Yep, I'm bald as can be. Once it started to thin out, I just shaved it off. Made life easier.

To my brothers in bald - Rejoice! We don't waste $ on silly things like shampoo or conditioner. And remember, God made only a few perfected heads....the rest he covered in hair!
