Welcome back, Jock! The boards have felt a little quieter without you. Nobody has been harassing Panache on his style choices!

Good to see you posting again. Does this mean you are Home or still at Hosi?

    Jock,

How nice to see that you have recovered enough to post again!

I hope you continue to improve, and speedily, too.

There is only one problem with getting better,I find, is that the hospital gets more like a gaol! Sadly I am sentenced to at least another month behind bars! Don't worry I am not being ungrateful to the wonderful people here and I will be forever grateful for what they have done and how they have treated my family, but there really does come a time when it is time to leave. Sadly it is not to be and it is sooooo boring! I fear that I will be causing mischief before long. Still, the alternative does not appeal! Now! Do you think THEY will let me try to catch the carp in the hospital pond? I am sure I could take a few potshots at the pigeons sitting on the roof opposite,do you think? There are some really pretty nurses here, perhaps a party? Ho hum! I could try to dig a tunnel,I suppose. Leaping over a wooden horse could be a bit tricky though, in my present state. I wonder if I could escape dressed as a guard? Hummm food for thought!

Note to self: must order the "Great Escape","The Wooden Horse", "Escape from Stalag Luft 17" from the library.

    Jock,

I am glad to see you posting again. Try to relax and let your body heal.

By the way, you should instruct your grounds people to remove all the rocks from your estate.

It might be prudent to stay away from "leaping" and "tunneling" for now, and certainly don't entertain any "tying bedsheets together and going out the window" ideas. Disguise and guile would be less stressful options... but perhaps best of all is staying put and enjoying the pretty nurses and a good book or three until your jailers set you free.

Well this is great news Jock!

I wasn't aware of this until just now, and even though we've crossed posts here and there I consider you a true gentleman and I wish nothing but the best to you and a speedy and complete recovery.
Best wishes to your family as well, that I am sure were on pins and needles hoping for your recovery.

    Cheers!
