Lady M, let me add my encouragement for light bows. My recreational shooting is done with a 35# Wing recurve. I use a heavier bow for hunting but why use a heavy bow just to enjoy the magical arch of the arrow in flight.

Puffer, where'd you get the fox quiver? All your tackle looks good. I had trouble in my younger days trying to aim. Now I look and shoot and let the brain do the calculations without trying to force it.

On stable belts secured with straps, the straps are worn at the side by the military. On stable belts with regimental crests on the buckles, the buckles are worn centre front.

I mention this for historical accuracy not as a critisism of puffer.

Puffer you looks really sharp in that outfit, and the belt looks good the way you are wearing it.

You are correct. I am wearing it with the "straps" forward. I often do so either for "looks' or, as in this case, because I had other "GEAR "hanging on my sides, throught out the day. I also was "shooting" ML/BP pistol & rifle.

Here is a pix of "Robin Hood". This Young man ( 8 year old ) was "named" @ the event ( perm. Rondy Name) because of his ability with the bow in the Youth division.

BTW he also is the "reigning" TMA PNW Regional s Youth Champion ( BP/ML Rifle.)

Puffer is the bow made by you? I make my own, and I only ask because, and it may be the angle, the tiller on the upper limb looks almost as if it's a bit dangerously stiff. Do you feel a bit of shock in the hand on release?

    Adam

Thought I'd post my wee walnut bow.
