visiting BC

Hello, to the kilted of BC. My family and I are going to be visiting Mara Lake this summer (the first week of August) does anyone know if there is/will be any kilt nights, Scottish festivals or anything like that going on around there at that time?

I had to look up Mara Lake. Seems it is south of Sicamous and north of Enderby. So, Salmon Arm (31 km) is close, and Vernon (56 km) is not too far. Kamloops (140 km) and Kelowna (108 km) would be a bit of a stretch.

Hmmm. Kamloops Highland Games are July 11. No good.

Penticton Highland Games are cancelled this year. Bummer.

According to this site, that's it for Highland Games in that region at that time.
