Celtic Craft Centre only put two straps on their kilts. The shaping they put in eliminates the need for a third strap. Perhaps those kilts were made by another kiltmaker.

Trefor and Andrew chose those options for their kilts.

When I ordered my kilt through their San Francisco store in 2005, I preferred to go with the two straps only.

Wow thanks for the bump!
I know there has been a lot of discussion about CCC on another thread but at the time these were made there were no known problems and the quality is excellent.
Sorry I couldn't make the Folk Club last Friday Derek, was at the far end of the Sognefjord in Norway.
