Coming to Lexington
So what is there to do for fun in Lexington? I'll be there all next week (6/22-6/26) working during the day and stuck in my hotel in the evenings. Staying at the DoubleTree downtown. I'm not sure if I'll be bringing the kilt or not, but hoping to get out a little and experience the city a little either way.

Hey, Pete. I'll be flying into Louisville that week. I don't know much about Lexington other than my boss lives there But if you're up for a 75 mile drive, on the 23rd (Tuesday) some of the locals were kind enough to help me arrange a kilt night in Louisville. Check this thread for details.

Lexington Legends, minor league baseball is in town. Good fun and I'll be there. Downtown is revitalized, lots of outdoor bars, two are Irish hangouts (lot of Irish on the horse farms and established in town.
Let me know if you want specific info

From my boss...
The Horse Park is pretty cool; Horse Farms in Versailles; some whiskey distillers in Frankfort and some historic buildings would be the highlights.
