    new jacket

    I decided to treat myself today and bought a new tweed Argyle & waistcoat in charcoal. i think it looks rather snappy myself. it's going back to the shop next week to have the sleeves shortened 1/2"...

    Nice! You can't go wrong with a charcoal tweed argyll. Good call on the sleeves- it's the most important thing for the fit I think.

    Looks grand, I find my charcoal tweed and waistcoat are the most versatile in my wardrobe, I'm sure you will get lots of wear from it.

    you'd think so, but with 8 kilt shops within a 15 minute drive of the house i feel i have maybe too much choice?

    Charcoal is such a versatile color and you can pair it with any tartan. Good choice and besides getting a Lovat Argyle & waistcoat charcoal would be my next choice.
