We headed to Daniel O’Connell Irish Pub for dinner. It was a bustling evening in Old Town.


Kilted in my Newsome Box pleat XMarks tartan, I was a crowd pleaser. Alexandria was founded and had a heavy inhabited Scots community in our colonial past.

It was a great to see little Elma again. She had been named after my mother’s sister, Elsie Margaret, whom had the nick name Elma. Although, Elsie here is my aunt, I am three days older than her. Right, my grandfather was an virile old codger that had started his second family.
