    "Starburst" commercial

Anyone seen the "Starburst" candy TV commercial with the kilted "Scots-Koreans" and the Albino Lifeguard? Bizzarre, but hilarious...!

Saw it last night. Bizarre. We need to invent a mythology to cover it.

"In 1642, a Korean fishing boat was swept off course, and ocean currents drew them to shipwreck on the shores of the Outer Hebrides, where they interbred with the natives, and eventually they made their way back to Korea, disguising themselves in kilts to sneak through Eurasian, and bringing to Korea the legend of the Kimchi Haggis..."

    Starburst commercial

Any one else seen the Starburst ad with the "Scots Korean" very funny ad has a Korean sporting the Kilt and bagpipes, he has a red beard on and runs up to his son telling him he makes no sense since he is ScotsKorean, just like a starburst candy- something like it is a solid but tastes like a liquid in your mouth, then he points out another person who makes no sense the Albino lifeguard. I have seen it twice but was doing other things and had to try to play catch up.

I haven't seen it on the TV. But with George7's links to YouTube, I must say I prefer #2!

    Thumbs up

Besides being funny, a cool thing about those ads is that the folks are dressed realistically, not like cartoon Scotsmen

TV ad with Korean-Scots in kilts

Has anybody else seen the new Starburst commercial?

It shows a Asian father and son in kilts, with the father holding bagpipes. He sees the son having some of the candy and comments what an incongruity that is, being Korean-Scots as well as something about the candy.
