If you had a rattlesnake sporran, the tassles would just have to be snakes' rattles. But a diamond back could make for a very nice look!

Wow I'm glad for those who wear such sporrans, but I just don't see it. Thanks for the link... makes for a really interesting reference...

Thanks for the link. That was very cool indeed to see such unusual sporrans.

But now that I've said that, Blech! I wouldn't wear most of those even if they were given to me gratis. Very disturbing indeed. It kind of lowers the bar in what might be an acceptable sporran.

IMO, "traditional" does not always been "admirable" or "better." Our ancestors also used to go around clubbing things with big sticks and refrain from bathing for months at a time. I don't think that reversion to either of those practices for the sake of being "traditional" are very appealing to most...

A couple of interesting ideas and sporrans. Would love to follow the person wearing the duck at a kilted gathering, just to see the looks and hear the comments made. Overall I agree heartily with CDN Sushi's comments.

Jackalope would be a fun one for Texas. You might have a budding new business on your hands, Grant!
