Yet another week has gone by and apart from the usual poking ,prodding,talking gibberish,and general quiet hustling and bustling from the medical fraternity, I am doing and feeling much better! There is some good news and some bad news. The bad, is that next Monday I am to have another fairly major operation to remove assorted bits of wire, bone, check on one or two damaged nerves and remove a few more teeth that were damaged. Frankly I am not looking forward to all that and the recovery process afterwards, but it has to be done and that's that ,I suppose. The good news is that, if all goes well, I will be going home soon(?) after! There will be lots of visits back to hospital after that, for sure, but without sounding ungrateful to everyone it will be great to see a different view!

I know the surgery / recovery will be unpleasant but I am glad to hear that you are close to be being released.

It will do you a world of good to be out there and you will mend even faster

SSSSSHHHHH! I am hoping that THEY will get so fed up with me, that I will be thrown out! Remember the cunning plan? I am told, by a source close to the commandant, that I am regarded as a bit of a tricky inmate!

Dang! This may change the escape date and we'll have to prepare new forged documents with new dates and signatures. Where is the Forger when you need him.

Seriously though, sorry to hear you have go under the knife again, but I'm sure its for the best. Hang in there and remember - name, rank, and number.
