Very smart there JD, I bet you are pleased with that! That outfit will see you through any function from bbq's to weddings and funerals! The watch chain finishes things off nicely too. I wonder if you threaded the chain fixing right through the button hole and then hook it around the thread at the back of the button might be better? Some one suggested Tattersall shirts and I would not hesitate to wear them with your outfit. Not the large check, but the one with checks of half an inch to an inch and I find that a white background with blue and navy checks gets me by. Can you lay your hands on a "regimental" style tie? That would set off the whole thing. If it fits in with the ensemble all to the good, if not, don't worry about it, WEAR IT ANYWAY! I seem to be saying this more and more; while you don't want your colours to clash violently, apart from your tie perhaps, don't get all wound up with all this matching up nonsense. A final thought! I wonder how a black traditional style day sporran would look with your outfit? I hasten to add the brown looks great, I was just thinking of options!

I see that there's a light blue stripe in the tartan, so you could follow the Duke of Rothesay's lead and wear a pale blue oxford shirt as well.

Wow... these jackets and sporrans and things that we sell look great when we get them in the shop, but the real joy is to see them being worn and enjoyed by their eventual owners. Those photos are fantastic! The color tweed you selected looks stunning with your kilt.

I think the outfit looks just perfect, as is, but I'll echo those who suggest a tattersal shirt as an alternative. I'm a big fan and have several of different shades in my closet that I wear frequently with my kilts. I think the tattersal pattern looks especially nice paired with tweed, as well.
