You in your kilt with your favorite pipe.

    Hello All,

So here goes it. To all you pipe smokers out there, I'm asking to post a picture of you dressed in your kilt smoking your favorite pipe. I've been a pipe smoker for years. I enjoy a good English mixture in the evening with a pint or a dram to keep it company. So all of you out there that like to smoke a pipe, show us a pic of you enjoying your favorite.
I'm patiently awaiting my first kilt in the mail. Once I get it, I will post a picture on here as well with either my Nording or my Savinelli. I will have to decide which one to use for the picture.

    Slàinte!

    Shawn

I'm sure there are some of you out there that enjoy a pipe now and again. I guess I will have to get this picture thread going with what I have. I don't have a kilt yet but here a picture of me with my balmoral on and my Savinelli.

The picture is a little dark but I'm wearing my Gunn clan badge with a sprig of juniper and my Gunn tartan tie. I hope this will work for now until I'm able to get my kilt.

    Slàinte!

    Shawn,

I have a nice collection of heather wood pipes made in Saint-Claude, France, and I was planning to post a picture of myself in an attitude similar to this gentleman here :

My Lady Chrystel is making the vest and waistcoat for me. It should be ready in September (customers first, husband after ). Untill then, I really admire your look !

    Best,

I went through some old pictures, an I realized that while I do enjoy a casual pipe, I'm rarely kilted at the time - Not a conscious avoidance, just happenstance.
I'm sure I'll rectify that situation at the next Highland games. I'll try to get some pictures to contribute.
    And welcome to the forum!

(This happens to be my "number of the beast" post. Strange it should be about smoking...)

Alas, I have but one pipe. And my little lady disapproves of smoking it, so I'm not sure I'd have anyone to take a picture for me!

Here's me going for that Sherlock Holmes look, I'll have to get a full shot one day so you see the kilt as well.

I don't have any photos of me smoking a kilt, but here's a (tongue-in-cheek) photo:

Not at all I find pipe smoke to be the only smoke that smells good (aside from campfire smoke).
