Passport packaging?
May I ask what kind of package your passports came in?
A manila envelope? A white envelope? Regular size or 9x12 or a box?
What did it say on the outside?
What was the return address?
I'm not having a panic attack, really I"m not. Just cuz everyone else has gottn theirs.........................

AE,
I didn't keep my envelop, but as I recall it was a white one about 6 x 8 Royal Mail posted. I sure they are still sending them out. I am thinking, too the last ordered is the first out. Having the Passport mailed to you was an option. You could have chosen to pick it up when you got there.

Well, *I* did not select that, but maybe the travel agency did???
Still waiting to hear from them. If I don't get an email on Monday, I'll be placing a phone call to Cashel Travel in Scotland.
Thanks for your description of the envelope. Every little bit helps.

If you go to the www.panalba.com site there is a forum similar to these. One of the regular posters to that forum is a sweet gal named Jenny Gilmour. She actually works in the administration office for the Gathering and has been very helpful in tracking down passports for worried purchasers. Her wonderful demeanor and willingness to check into finding these virtual needles in the haystack is a tribute to all of those behind the scenes for this event. She is always cheerful and I think genuinly cares about giving everyone a good experience.
For what it's worth, it seems that those experiencing delays are those who have went through travel agents. I'm not sure if the agents are keeping the passports to hand out in person when they arrive or what. I'm in Kansas and I got mine about 3 weeks ago.

My tickets (I didn't get the passport) arrived yesterday.
They arrived in a smallish (about 5"x6") white envelope stamped Royal Mail.

To TeamCrawford, yes Jenny has helped and she is very nice.
It seems my agent is some sort of sub-agent for Cashel Travel. Cashel Travel has my hotel reservation on file but not the Passport reservation.
And I have found out my agent will deliver my Passport to my hotel in Edinburgh.
