Mens day out

Yesterday was a mens only outing. Unfortunately there was only two of us able to go. It was an early wash n brush up.


Then the bus


Then a train.


Which took us to a little station on the Somerset Levels where we got off and had a half hour walk across the levels




Loved this car who was heading to the same place


Then we homed in on our destination

We had arrived


Headed to the entrance


Bought our tickets


And in we went


Headed to the flight line


And this was in the air doing a display .. the pic is the right way up by the way

Model Air shows are thirsty work so then we headed here


And had a pint o Boddingtons




These guys took their beers out to keep watching


Then it was time to make our way back across the levels


Back to the village and the station which just so happened to have a little pub alongside .. our legs were tired .. thats our excuse





Back on the station and home


It was a really great day out. Not one comment about me Cilt/Kilt all day long .. but why should they cause it only a Cilt/Kilt.
