Got the JOB! A new career in law enforcement.
As many of you know I am retiring from the Army and was looking for a new career in law enforcement, however, with the way the economy is etc... I was not able to get my dream job as Deputy Sheriff in Ada County, Boise Idaho. Instead I decided to apply for the DOD police officer job on post after I was persuaded by the department captain. I went through two interviews and today I was given the official notification that I made the cut and was awarded the job of Department of Defense Police Officer. I start 17 August, however, before that I am planning on taking a road trip to Colorado to play golf, ride the D&RG, drink great beer, and wear my kilt.

I am really very happy for you - but I would ask you consider redacting portions of the document. To my eyes it looks like a bit too much personal information available to anyone on the world wide web.

Well done, but I agree with Phil - you might not want to post so much personal information on the web, especially given your new job.

Congratulations! That's really cool considering the economy and all!
Oh, and I definitely agree that some of the stuff in the letter shouldn't be available to all like that.
If Rogerson doesn't edit it soon, can a Mod do it?
Tres Importante IMHO!
