Jamie, you amaze in so many ways. I have learned from you extensively already but would love to be a fly on the wall one day when you are making these. How do you finish the antler, do you buff with some compound on a wheel or what do you do to get that finish?
So many people have talents that blow me away. Thank you all for sharing and best wishes.

Thank you Panache and others for the pics.
Mr. MacMillan, is it possible I met you at the Queen Mary Games and you showed my little one and I your staff crowned with antler and your sgian dubh, the one you post 2nd to the right looks very familiar.

Those are thumbnail posts. All you have to do is click on them and they get larger.
Regarding QM - It probably was me, I met a lot of people. Will send PM.

I just got this one from Joe Gondek a little while back. The blade is one of Rab Gordon's.

I absolutely love this thing!

Gorgeous!!
Is this natural color antler, is it buffed with some compound to get the smooth and almost shiny finish? Anyone know?
Thank you for sharing this, it is amazing!!
