I have been motorcycling for 25 years, but you get the idea. I'm sure you know a lot of people who have gone through that stage in life and bought a Harley at 45 or 50, eh?
Anywho, age has matured me to dare go where I never dared before: in public with my kilt (not ceremonial). I have gone to restaurants, golfing, the bar, shopping, everywhere except work where I wear a uniform. What a rebellious act against the social norm. The act of wearing a kilt slaps you in the face with pride, excitement, comfort, and antiestablishmentism; a.k.a., FREEDOM!
