    I vote for #2 as well, a black golf shirt would look good too. Save the Renfaire shirt for faire.

    Either look would be right at home at the BC Highland games. I see lots of guys dressed in Jacobite shirts, as well as golf shirts and tee shirts.
    I think the Jacobite shirt is slightly dressier than the golf shirt but I have to disagree with it being hotter than a black golf shirt. A tight fitting black shirt transfers heat right to the skin. A loose fitting white shirt doesn't.
    And another tip; I often wear my wool socks on very hot days. Wool insulates both ways.

    I'm quite keen on the traditional kilt with tee-shirt or polo shirt look for highland games.
    Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.
