new youth Thrifty from Jerry @ Stillwater

So I finally got around to getting my sons new kilt for a wedding we are attending on Sunday 7/18.

    Front Shot

    Obligatory Pleat Shot

    and of course the "Hamish"....

I gave him the choice of a new kilt or a sport coat and he chose the kilt (sniff...I'm so proud) The kilt is a Stillwater Youth Thrifty in the Gordon Tartan. (We have no affiliation with Gordon, he picked it.) The sporran is a Stillwater black adult with the chain reduced quite a bit to fit. I still need to get the youth hose as the tube socks are quite working but he's 5 so he can pretty much get away with anything.

What a great start! Here's hoping he wears the kilt just as enthusiastically for years to come!
