Still thinking about sporrans.
I have almost completed the alterations on this kilt. The apron has the shape more like a regular kilt apron now.
What was concerning me is that this is a contemporary kilt, or I think of it as an American style kilt, and I wasn't sure if I should be using the typical sporran that is intended for a Scottish kilt.
I guess it's fine, but I might make a canvas sporran shaped somewhat like this one.
I guess the Lewis hose are fine to, but I have some thick grey knee high socks that seem to work alright.
I tried using this kilt with my corduroy kilt jacket and it didn't go over too well. 
I'll have this kilt back up and working soon.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
