That's some better news, Jock, particularly getting your strength back at last. Sorry to hear you have to get used to a set of "wallies" though. My Dad always said food never tasted as good after he got his. Always enjoyed a good curry, mind you, so it mustn't have been all that bad!
(Sorry I should explain - wallies are Glaswegian for dentures. They really refer to the white tiles found in tenements there which they resemble.)
In the hospital's in the states they tend to serve a bland comfort style food. Things like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rubber chicken, rice pilaf, etc.
What are they serving you, besides soft jello and puddings?
