No Holidays for Lady Chrystel !
Lady Chrystel never stops !
No vacations, no holidays this summer : only kilt making !
Here she is under the family prune trees with what shall soon become one of her Double Box Pleated Kilts.
Best,
Robert

Robert,
That material is beautiful! Only you can pull that off with your looks and Lady Chrystel's magnificent talents. I love the fact that your dog is standing watch so fiercely while she toils over the garment.

That is a beautiful blue. What a glorious setting for kiltmaking. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.

I'm afraid I have nothing to do with the choice of Milady's customers ! although it is a great looking tartan !

I see you and the dog have your priorities set correctly, relaxing while the Lady toils relentlessly.
I always believed that prunes were dried plums so I take it these are plum trees in your garden?

Hello Ancienne Alliance, how are you.
Hope Lady Chrystel gets a holiday, she
works so hard at the delight of her

Kind wishes.

Robert, that is a very bold tartan, simple yet elegant - can you tell us what it is?
