    I made a pinstripe kilt about a year and a half or two years ago - 11oz charcoal grey with light grey stripe. It was almost as easy to pleat as a solid colour (just my experience.) But as Rocky and others have stated, it's made in sections and hemmed. Though, I think they look really nice when they're a full kilt suit.

    Pick the right pinstriped fabric and you can have the only type of kilt that is pleated to both the sett and the stripe.

    i'm really leaning toward the alpha kilt pinstripe.....but i need to know what those darn pleats look like first.
