Me neither... I dont think it was invented at that point - 1500 if my memory from music classes 3 years ago serves me right and they werent in common western use for a while.
I think the band is a mix of the pipe bands through the ages
nevertheless they sound good and I've given them a few pounds on a couple of occasions for entertaining me
