EMS kilt suggestion

This tartan was done by a customer of ours (Mark Ragnone). In talking with him, he wants to have a piece of wool woven in it to get a kilt made for himself. I was / am going to offer it up on XMARKS to any medics who want to get a kilt in the tartan at 'non special weave' pricing (since I'll hopefully get enough orders to weave a piece of the fabric to keep everyone's cost down). Once I finalize the details with Mark about weight and whatnot, I'll post up here about it.

I hope I can get in on that. An EMS memorial kilt would be great for the formal at the Arkansas EMS Association Convention next year! (This year's convention is next weekend)

I believe there's a most honorable story behind how the EMS tartan came to look like a restaurant tablecloth...the first ones were just that. Maybe someone who knows the story well can tell it.

I own a Medical White Utilikilt Original that would make a fine EMS kilt. I've "outgrown" it, but I don't know many EMS folks that are as fat as I used to be. Its 65 poly/35 cotton with silver snaps and logo. True 42" waist 21" length. Not made anymore, believe it was a sample or trial kilt. Got it from scratch and dent but no defects, just unusual. Its a great snow camo kilt too.

I'm still trying to save up for that Navy Edzell, but put me down for the EMS tartan and hopefully you will have some left over fabric...I'm sure there's a bank that needs robbin somewhere?

Blue completes my collection and I can start concentrating on accessories.

I could wear it at my pant waist, where I wear my phillabeg. I wish this "diet" and exercise program would kick in soon!

Actually, the "MacMedic" tartan was designed for (volunteer?) emergency workers either the Grandfather or Stone Mountain games.
